"She won't be coming home for a couple of days since her workplace is in Rome." Xia Meilin said as she rested her back against her seat.

　　A wrinkle was seen on Ren s.h.i.+yuan's forehead when he heard what she said. "Rome?"

　　If they would go by car, it would almost take seven hours before they can reach the place. If it was by train, it would take almost four hours.

　　Whenever Nian Jiezhen would start working, she would live in Rome. If she was on leave, then she would go back to her main home in Milan, that's why she wanted Xia Meilin to go to her mother instead since she won't be in Milan that much unless she didn't have a case.

　　"Yes. Her mother will be coming today to watch over me." She said with a sigh. "If you want to go to her, I can't come with you. Nian Jiezhen's mother is coming today so I have to be at home to accompany her."

　　He clenched the handwheel tight as he lowered his head. What should he do? Should he continue to pursue her? She did say that their relations.h.i.+p won't become so easy because of their works. He was willing to make time for her but was she willing to make time for him?

　　"Do you like her?" Xia Meilin asked as if planting a bomb all of the sudden.

　　"Man, you're really so straightforward." He chuckled a bit. "Can't you at least give me a warning before you ask something serious like that?"

　　She rolled her eyes and shrugged. Xia Meilin never hesitates on asking what was on her mind when she was really curious about something. "So, do you like her?

　　He smiled a bit at the question. The reason why he was attracted to Nian Jiezhen was that she was a person who understands him. He wasn't after her because of love but he only wanted to get to know her more; to know how much similarities they have. Other than that, she was someone who brings comfort to him because of the fact that she understands him.
