While they were in the hospital, Xia Meilin went to see a doctor. She took a pregnancy test and it came out positive. Aside from that, she did some additional tests.
After that, she returned to Lu Yifeng's room. She doesn't want to tell it to him yet. This was something special for the both of them and because of that, she wants to prepare a surprise for him.
Lu Yifeng was discharged from the hospital on the same day. When they arrived at their place, it was almost lunchtime.
Lu Yifeng went to his office, while Xia Meilin went to their room. She entered the bathroom and took a shower. She couldn't help but sigh, she wasn't able to show him the lingerie she wore. Because of his injury, Lu Yifeng wasn't allowed to move his body much.
After taking a bath, she went out of the bathroom in her bathrobe.
While drying her hair in front of the vanity mirror, her phone started ringing, it was a call from Li Bingbing.
She placed the hairdryer aside before she answered the call. "h.e.l.lo?"
"How did your night go? Did the boss go crazy in bed?" The excitement in Li Bingbing's voice was heard.
"..." Xia Meilin couldn't help but feel embarra.s.sed because of her shameless best friend. Who would call and ask how a s.e.x night went? "We didn't do it."

A gasp can be heard from the other line, "Someone tried to ruin your night with the boss?! Give me a street name and I'll hunt him down! After all the trouble we went through, how dare that person try to ruin everything!"
"You can find the person who tried to kill my husband?" It would be a big help if Li Bingbing is able to catch the culprit.
"Why of course, baby, I can follow him through the street surveillance cameras. As long as a street has a CCTV, I can send Kozu to check on it." Li Bingbing proudly said. "So tell me, what happened?"
